84th BIRTHDAY
Congratulations to Mr. Lorne
Ivers who celebrated his 84th
birthday at Pinecrest Manor Nurs-
ing Home in Lucknow on Septemb-
er 17'. Mrs. Ivers and some of the
Dungannon neighbours and friends
shared his birthday cake and
wished him well.
Miss Beryl Elliott of New
Liskeard was a week end guest with
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Caesar, and
accompanied them to the Ander-
son-Kennedy wedding in Teeswat-
er on Saturday.
Mrs. W. A. Stewart is spending
a few days with Mr. and Mrs. T. M.
Durnin near Dunlop.
Mrs. Cecil Blake, Mrs. Graham
McNee, Mrs. Warren Zinn and
Mrs. Jack Alton attended the
Historical Society meeting in Blyth
on Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Irvine Eedy (Colleen) spent .
a couple of days in London with her
sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Van'Horne and enjoyed a
reunion with her other sisters,
Mrs. John Aiken (Helen) of
Portland, Oregon and Mrs. James.

Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Webster and
daughter Ettabelle and her hus-

girls dined in Zurich on Sunday to

Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Purdon and
Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Irvin recently
enjoyed a trip, which took them
3334 miles to the East 'Coast and
back. Some of the highlights of the
trip , were Quebec City; Charlotte-
town, P.E.I.; St. John, N.B. with
its high tides, the Magnetic Hill;
Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Island;
Halifax.

Conservation Area and toured

CKNX while another group visited
areas of interest in' Goderich.
Mrs. Aubrey Higgins was taken
to Goderich Hospital on Thursday.
On the' week end Mr. and . Mrs.
Murray Oke of Scarborough and
Mr: and Mrs. Jack Higgins. Mount
Clemens, Michigan visited Mr.
Higgins in Dungannon and Mrs.
Higgins in hospital.
