on their graduation from Fanshawe
College School of Nursing, Victoria
Campus, London. The graduatiOn
ceremony was held at Alumni Hall,
University of Western Ontario,
London.
Visitors on Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. Elroy Laidlaw 'were Mr. and
Mrs. Lorne Durnin and Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Ducharme of Goderich,
who also visited at Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Elliott's.
Starting kindergarten from the
village were Tony Falconer, Dale
Jamieson and Kimberley Laidlaw.
As one drove along the highway
on Tuesday morning, one easily
realized that school haS re-opened.
Big yellow buses were all over the
universe. One could easily notice
the first timers, the kindergarten
. class, standing at the .gates and
corners, all shined up and trying to
remember the last instructions
gi-en before leaving home.
Mrs. Walter Elliott held Open
House in honour of her daughter
Ruth's forthcoming marriage on
Saturday. The guests were
welcomed at the door by Mrs.
Elliott, Ruth and Mrs. Elroy
Laidlaw. The display of wedding
gifts, shower gifts and Ruth's Hope
4 Chest were shown by Karen Rivett
and Jane Laidlaw. The tea table
was adorned by the 3 tier wedding
cake.. The aunts and cousins were
in charge of the tea table. The
flower arrangetnents throughout
the house were gladioli and
dahlias.
Mrs. Gershom Johnston and
George Grigg returned home on
Sunday afternoon after visiting last
week with Mr. and Mrs. Rtg

Exhibition on Tuesday and . was
joined there by Kimberley Rintoul,

Gordon Rintoul's with him. •On
Monday Carol, , Kimberley and
Debbie accompanied grandparents
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Black to
Orangeville Fair, where they would
meet their parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Leroy Rintoul, and return home

Tottenham spent Saturday night
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Gordon Rintoul, and on Sunday
went to Stfathroy to judge beef
cattle.

where Brian exhibited cattle.

of Lucknow were Monday visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. Carman
Whytock and Jack.
Mr. and Mrs. John 'Stewart of
Blyth were Saturday visitors with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bab
Adams and family.
