the Winghatn and District Hospit-
al... We wish her improved health.
Mr. and Mrs.. Kenneth Hodgins
and family of Niagara spent the
week end with his mother, Mrs.
Marretta Hodgins, at her, 'home
here.
Mrs. Arthur Phillips of Fonthill
visited during the week with the
Maulden family. On Saturday Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Maulden returned
home with her for a few days
holiday with the Phillips and with
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Palmer and
family.
Best wishes are extended to Mr.
Joseph Wall, who celebrated his
91st birthday last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Haldenby
of Toronto visited with relatives
and friends here over the week
end.
Mr. Dan Nicholson of Lucknow,
who has 'been in poor health, has
been with Mr. and Mrs. Don
Gillespie and family.
Relatives from here attended the
Miller-Hunter wedding and recep-
tion on Saturday.

Died In Toronto
In 84th Year
Dorothy May Walsh, the former
Dorothy May Dillon, passed `away
at her home in Toronto on Friday,
August 8th, 1975 in her 84th year.
She was predeceased by herfirst
husband, the late Harold James
Dillon and by her huiband Patrick
Walsh; ,one son Fred Dillon and one
daughter Mary (Mrs. Eugene
Couckuya.
She leaves to mourn her passing
two sons • and four daughters,
James Dillon of Ambleside, Doro-
thy (Mrs. Edward Amon) of
Alliston, Marjorie (Mrs. Everett La :
Chapelle) of Toronto, Theresa
(Mrs. Jim Thompson) of R. R. 5
Lucknow, Maybelle (Mrs. Nelson
LaChapelle), of Toronto and Joseph
Dillon of R. R. 1 Wingham; 32
grandchildren and 33 great grand-
children.
Friends called at the funeral
home of Ryan and. Odette Ltd..,
1498 Dundas Street West, at
Dufferin.
Funeral set-vice was held Mon-
day, August 11th at' Saint Mary's
Church, Toronto. Interment was
made in. Mount Hope Cemetery,
Toronto.
Rilett at Windsor and with Jim who
is employed at Sarnia.
Jamie Langford, who has spent
the summer with his grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Nicholson and
Lois, returned to his home in
Woodstock. Mr. and Mrs.
Nicholson, took him home and spent
Saturday with Mr. and Mrs.'Cliff'
Langford and family.
Miss Susan Culley of Toronto
visited during the week with Mr.
and Mrs. Art Haldenby.
On Saturday evening next,
August 3Ist, a parish service will
be held in St. Peter's Anglican
Church, Lucknow at 8 o'clock. All
four congregations will join for
worship, and a fellowship hour will
follow.
