Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Coblentz,
Perry, Noah, Amos, Vernon, Leah
and Marjorie and Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Coblentz, William, Joseph,
Rosie May, Paul, David and
Martha motored from Indiana
-arriving _last Monday and spent a
few days at Langside. Their lived-
here a few years ago, Roy Coblentz
on the farm now owned by Allan
Miller and Vernon Coblentz on the
farm now owned - by Albert
Bo'ngertman. They were guests of
Mr. and Mrs. Allan Miller, Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Young and Mr. and Mrs.
Clifford Young. 'On Tuesday
evening a gathering of friends , and
neighbours was held at Langside
gall to renew old acquaintances.
On 'Wednesday afternoon they left
for St. Marys to spend a few days
with relatives there, after which
they will return to Indiana.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Broome of
I3luevale and Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Broome, Malcolm, Melvin, and,
-Janet of Norwich, England were
visitors. Tuesday evening with Mr.
and Mrs. Clifford Young. Mrs.
Walter Broome and Mrs. Jim
Broome—are_sisters mild Walter
Broome is a cousin of Jim Broome -
or Bluevale, William Broome of
VVingliam, Reg Broome of Belfast
and (Lillian Broome) Mrs. Clifford
Young of Langside.
LEG BROKEN
Bob Moffat had the misfortune to
break his leg while playing ball in a
tournament in. Ripley on Monday,
August, 4th at their Centennial
Celebration. His leg was in a cast
for a week, then a walking cast was
applied with which he is able to get
around.
A surprise birthday party was
held on the evening of August 7th
about 8.30 when nine couples from
the Christian' Reformed Church in
Lucknow arrived at the home of
John Top and sons to honour Mr.
Top on his 80th birthday. A social
evening was spent. The ladies
provided a bountiful lunch.
Jainie—Young-- -returned home
Thursday after a three week tour
with his grandparents Mr. and
Mrs. Don Martin and Danny of
Wingham which took them as far as
Vancouver. The trip was much
enjoyed.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Steer,
Tracey and Heather, spent Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. Philip Steer.

Club skit.
The pageant ended as it
began with the theme song, No •
