Joan Courtney, representing
Jim Elliott was crowned queen
of the Ripley-Huron ReuniOrl
Saturday afternoon by
Crawford Douglas MP.
Joan held the lucky envelope
declaring her the winner over
the other twelve girls entered in
the contest. ,Unlike other
contests, an envelope was given
to each girl, one designating
whO would be queen, phis two
attendents.
Mary lane Courtney,
representing Lowry Farm
Systems and Mary Lynn
McLean representing George
McLean Men's Wear were
chosen as the attendents.
Chairman of the reunion, Don
McTavish, said the envelope
method was used to prevent
any► pressure being- placed on-
-the girls.

Trevor Hunter of London visited
a few days at Point Clark with
Jason Conley and on Friday with
Mrs. Tom Anderson, Lucknow.
Mr. and Mrs. Herb Hunter of
London visited last week with
friends at Spencerville and on

coached by Walter Moore and

Friday evening* and won with a
score 9-0. Lucknow go on to play
