On Friday evening, August 8th,
a shower was held in Whitechurch
Community Memorial Hall. for
bride to be, Mary Lou Adams.
While the crowd was gathering,
Mrs. Don. 'Ross played several
musical numbers. The bride. was
.accompanied to her' seat of honour
by her 'sisters Janet and Andrea
who later assisted with the gifts.
Mrs. John de Boer was master of
ceremonies. Miss Lori Jamieson
gave a reading, The Old Bachelor's
Sale. Mrs., Jim de Boer and Mrs.
Martin gave interesting contests.

Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Farrier,
Mr. and Mrs. Don Gillespie,

Gillespie, Sarnia, returned the first
of the week from visiting at Milford
Manor near Port Carling with Mr.
and Mrs. Wayne Farrier and
family.
Dalton Schultz arrived home on
Tuesday from Wingham and Dist-
rict Hospital.
Whitechurch U.C.W. on Wed • -
nesday held their August meeting
at the Psychiatric Hospital. They
entertained 'the hospital patients
with games, 'contests and lunch.
Afterwards they went to the
lakeside.
,Mr. and Mrs. Bev Kay, Graham
and Wendy are spending their ,
holidays touring the Eastern prov-
inces in their trailer.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace, Milligan,
Clara and Mary Lou returned on
the week end after . a 'two 'week
holiday spent' at Prince Edward
Island which was Mrs. Milligan's
home. Her father and other
relatives are still, living there.
• Little Heather Storey of Dungan-
non spent Friday and Saturday with
Lana Craig and on Sunday Mr. and
Mrs. Craig, Lana and Ryan took
Heather to her home at Dungan-
non.
Albert Coultes arrived home •on
Friday from a week's holidays with
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert. Schwichten-
berg and family of Port Elgin,
holidaying at Manitoulin Island.

Tiffin on Saturday attended the
Toronto Exhibition.
Sunday evening visitors with Mr.
and MM Wesley Tiffin were Mr.,
and Mrs. George Tiffin; Mr. and
Mrs. Les' Purvis, all of Lucknow
and Mrs. Hugh MacMillan of
Watford.
Mr. and Mrs: Gordon Campbell
''of Scarborough spent the week end
with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bill

Kitchener spent Saturday with
them.

Hallam of London were visitors

George Grigg wag' admitted on
Friday to Wingham and Oistrict
Hospital. His many friends wish
him a speedy recovery.
Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Smith and
John Liddel and David of Kitchener
were Sunday visitors with Mrs.
Gershom Johnston.

Mrs. Bill Evans, who was admitted
to St. Josephs Hospital on Wed-
nesday last, was able to return
horne_pn Monday.
Last week Mrs. Getshom John-
ston and George Grigg visited one
day in Listowel Hospital with Mrs.
Jim Johnston.
Mrs. Leroy Rintoul, Carol and
Debbie of Tottenham arrived on
Monday. Mrs. Rintoul will attend a
shower Monday evening at Bel-
grave. Carol will remain for
holidays with her grandparents Mr.
and Mrs. Stanley Black of Bel-
grave. Debbie will holiday with her
grandparents Mr: and Mrs. Gordon
Rintoul.and uncles Brian and Gary.
We are pleased to report that
Mrs. Mack Inglis was released
from Wingham Hospital after
being laid up with a.broken leg and
now is with Mrs. Tom Inglis, Tom
and Betty.

Teeswater were. Monday visitors

W.M.S. will meet at the home 'of
Mrs. Wallace Conn at 2 p.m. The
leaders are Mrs. Wallace Conn,
