attended Ripley Reunion.

Presbyterian Church will be held
on Sunday afternoon from —now

The Andrew-Lane picnic was
held on Sunday at Ashfield Park
with a good attendance to celebrate
the '125th anniversary of the arrival
in Canada of those families froni
Devan in England.
Holiday visitors with Mr, and
Mrs. Oliver McCharles included

Holywood; California, Mrs. Russell
Scott and Jennifer of Rexdale, Mr.
and Mrs. Allan McCharles and
family of Montreal, John McChar-
les and Brenda Joy ,of Petrolia.

At Hpspital
Bert Alton, Lucknow, was a
passenger in a car driven by Oscar . .
Hodgins, when they were in
collision with another vehicle
August 14, throwing Mr. Alton out
onto the pavement. The accident
occurred 11/2 miles East of ''"Luck-
now. X-rays 'were taken and Mr.
Alton Was admitted to hospital.
The accident was investigated by
Constable* Foulon, Wingham
O.P.P.
J'Olin Krohn, R. R. 3 Wingham,
was found down a bank and a
motorcycle was found on the
roadside, at the Sportsman Club at
Wingham on August 15. No other
details are known. He was
admitted to hospital with a lump on
the back of his skull, x-rays were
taken and he 'was transferred to
Victoria Hospital, London. Invest-
igated by Constable Ricker,' Wing-
ham 0.P.P:
Mrs. Isabel Gaunt, R. R. 1
Lucknow, was a passenger in a car
driven by Mrs. Harold Gaunt which
.was in collision with a car driven by
Murray Thompson on the DiviSion
Line, between East and West
WawanOsh, at the 10th line. The
accident happened Atigust 16.,
Mrs. Gaunt was admitted to
hospital with a fractured nose,
hematoma in left lower leg and
multiple abrasions. Murr
Thompson, R. R. 1 Belgrave, w s
driver of second vehicle proceeding
south on. the division line. He was
treated for a contusion to left leg
and released. Miss Jane Thomp-
son, R. R. 1 Blegrave, .was a
passenger in the vehicle driven by'
her brother. Miss .Thompson was
treated for contusions and abra-
sions and discharged. Investigated
by Constable Ricker: Wingham
O.P.P.
Bruce Fischer, R. R. 3 Brussels;
was. driver of a car which left the
road and hit the ditch, on Huron
County Road -#Yb. We'was -treated
for an aching back and chest, and a
bruised forehead and discharged.
Murray Fischer, R. R. 3 Brussels,
was a passenger in the car. He was
treated for a small abrasion to his
forehead and released. Robert
Blake, R. R. 2 Brussels; was, also a
passenger in the vehicle. He was
treated for an injured right
shoulder, 'small :lacerations, and a .
bruised knee, and released.
