On a bright . sunny day that
matched the happiness felt by all
who attended, Lois Carol Wall of
Holyrood became the bride of
Byron Wallace Ballagh of Culross,
in the United Church of Teeswater,
July 5th. Rev. Arnold Proud,
assisted by Rev. Gerald Thompson;
conducted the ceremony. The
organ music was, provided by Mrs.
Kay Smith while, "The Wedding
Song"; God Bless This Marriage";
"Colour My World" and "For All
We Know" was sung by Misses
Ruth and Janet Whitehead, cousins
of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Morley Wall of Holyrood,
and, the groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. „Wallace Ballagh, of Culross.
The couple • was united in
marriage before the .altar on each
side of which stood lighted
candelabra decorated with white
daisies, tangerine coloured carna-
tions, baby's breath and greenery
which surrounded their base. The
pews were adorned. with wild lilies.
The. maid of honOur ; Laurie Hill
of. Culros, and the bridesmaids;
Doris Bradden of 'London, Linda
Wall of Holyrood, ,sisters of the
bride and Donna Greer of Lucknow,
friend of the bride, were all gowned
in identical floor length, melon
coloured dresses. Their white
floppy brimmed hats were trimmed
with melon coloured ribbon. The
bouquets they carried were of
daisies, tangerine carnations, and
small dried flowers, tied with white
ribbon. The flower girl, Sherri
Lynne Wall, niece of the bride, was
dressed in a long organza gown
with a high neck and short puffed
sleeves. She carried a white basket
of daisies, carnations and dried
flowers also.
The groom was attired in a pearl
grey tuxedo and wore a boutonnie-,
re of tangerine sweetheart roses.
The best man was Stuart Alton of
Belfast, cousin of the groom. Gary
Ballagh of Culross, brother of the
groom, Ken Wall of •Holyrood,
brother of the bride and Steve
Donaldson of Teesvvater_friend of
the grobrri, were the ushers. They
were all similarly attired in pearl
grey tuxedos with tangerine carna-
tions as their boutonnieres. The
ring bearer. Brian Moir, nephew of
the bride, also wore a pearl grey.

A dinner, attended by relatives.
followed the ceremony in the
church basement. The reception
was held in the Formosa Commun-
ity Centre with music provided by
Tiffin's Orchestra. The bride's'
mother reteived the guests in. a

long full green gown with long
Pleated sleeves. The gown was
accented with a, beaded front panel-
and a corsage of yellow sweetheart
roses. The groom's mother chose a
full length turquoise gown of
polyester satin with a sheer figured
jacket and white accessories. Her „
corsage was of pink sweetheart
roses..
The bride chose a beige and blue
sundress with jacket and ' navy
accessories as her going away
outfit. Her corsage of pink
sweetheart roses completed the
ensemble. The groom wore a
three piece baby blue suit ,with
one pink sweetheart lose.
The couple is now residing on the
second concession of Culross.
