David and Joe MacMillan of St.
Catharines visited with their grand-
parents,, Mr. and Mrs. Joe
MacMillan, Lucknow, last week
end.
Alex (Sandy) MacLeod of
Lucknow is • a patient in Wingham
and District Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Webster
have returned from Edmonton
where they stayed with Mr. and
Mrs.• Jack Webster and at The
Ranch in Big Valley with Mr. and
Mrs. Lloyd ' Webster. They
travelled by airboth ways and Were
away two weeks.
Brian Keith, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Evan Keith, R. 5 Lucknow, who
recently graduated from Humber
College, was honoured at a
gathering of friends and relatives
last week end. Brian is working in
public relations with Philips Elect-
ronics in Toronto.
DUNGANNON
Peter Kowalicki and Mrs. Jean
Broughton left from Mahon Airport
on July 23rd for a month vacation in.
Poland and Soviet. Union to, visit his
relatives.
Donald Broughton and Jane
Ivison from Tilbury spent the week
end with his mother before she left
for Europe.
Frances., and Jerry , Logtenherg,
Sherry'. Boak and Paul Drennan
were among 23.4-H club members
from Huron County, whO took part
in a 6-day exchange program to
Blackford and Jay Counties—in
Indiana. 4-H club members from
Indiana returned their, visit to
Huron County from July 17 to July
22 and were billeted with the young
Max Bushell, Lucknow, returned
home Sunday from Victoria
Hospital, London, where he was a
patient for two weeks and under
went back surgery.

Mr. and Mrs. Spence Irwin of
Lucknow were guests of Mr. and
Mrs. Torn Morrison at Little
Current, Manitoulin Island from
Thursday until Saturday. From
there they went to Sudbury "and
visited Mr._ and Mrs Ev Kitching
from Saturday until Tuesday morn-
ing.
Fred Ward of Lucknow has
returned." from a three week
vacation to. the East Coast where he
saw very dry conditions, with no
rain in about two months.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Maclnnes and
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Machines
Spent last week end in Detroit and
attended the funeral of their
brother Martin 1VlacInne,s whose
death occurred suddenly, from a
coronary on July. 18.. Funeral was
from Martenson Funeral Home,
Monday, July 21 at 2 p.m.
Interment was at Oakland Hill
Memorial Gardens. Jack, Mac and
Hughie MacInnes also attended the
funeral.
Master Warrant Officer' George
Webster, his wife Dawn and 3 sons
of Halifax, N.S. visited with his
parents and other relatives while in.
Lucknow for the past few weeks. A
family picnic was held at the home.

when close to 50 were present.

spent a few days recently holiday-

Mr. and Mrs: Chas.. Fowler
received word. on. Sunday of 'the
death of Mrs. Fred Fowler in Owen-
Sound Hospital, about a. week after
a fall in which she had broken her .
hip and her shoulder bones were
shattered-.• Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Fowler and family, of Parkhill
visited his parents on Sunday and
took them to see Mr. Fred Fowler
in 'Port Elgin. ' • He ha's been
confined to his home with a broken /
foot for the last two- weeks or so.
Rev. H. G. and Mrs. Dobson will
be on holiday froin JulY 2.9 to
August. 29 so there will be no
services held in Dungannon United
Church during that . time. Church
service will . resume on Sunday,
August 31 at 11.15 a.m. Sunday
School will begin its new season on
September 7. ' •
Brock Hasty had to have
impacted wisdom teeth extracted in
London recently. .
Mrs,. Gladys Wallace of Clinton
called on/ Mrs. Minnie Jones and
Mel on Sunday.
Visitors on Saturday 'evening
with "Mr. and Mrs..Bill Park were
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Tideswell of
Goderich and Mr. and Mrs. Mel
Snell of Goderich, formerly of
Scotland. .

week errd trip to London, Niagara
Falls, Campbellville and Rockton
Safari. While in Campbellville they
visited Mrs. Don Aubin and family
but missed seeing Don as he was
working.
