The Mammoth Parade on Satur-
day, August 2nd, is due to start at
12.30. The floats are assembling at
Murray Culbert's, east of Ripley,
and the parade will go straight 'into
Ripley and On down the 8th to the
ball park, NOT along the main
street as the Fair parade usually
does. There will be no parking on
the street until after the parade, as
the Ontario Legion Massed Pipes
and Drums require the width of the
street to pass by.
There have been a lot of entries
sent in for floats, and if you have a
float, just call Francis Boyle for a
number. They will be accepting
entries until Saturday morning, but
there will be less confusion
perhaps, if you know where to go.
People 'who would like to bring
lawn chairs to sit on during the
activities, please do so. No cars,
will be parking on the grounds, but.
