The first display of the provincial
and territorial flags, donated by

outside of the Ripley Huron Legion
hall, was held on Monday evening
of last 'week. Orah, a member of
the Legion and veteran with service
in 'the R.C.A.F. in. both World
Wars, obtained this 4et of twelve
flags in Thornton. They are
approximately .18 by 36 inches in
size, made of nylon. Each is
attached to a small rod about four
feet in length. Bob Love had
fastened the metal holders along
the facing 'boards at the north or
front end and the east side of the
Legion Hall. For putting up the
flags Bob got on the roof of the• hall
and placed them in order starting
with the provincial 'flag of New-
foundland. Pictures were taken by
Fran Wylds and by Bill Tranter for
Orah. The flags will/ add greatly to

coming reunion. Later hit son Bill
and family, Dr. and Mrs. William
Crawford and son of Winnipeg, and
his, .wife Marie and Mrs. Norma
McLennan were 'up to the Legion
