The first recommendation is that Bruce County be retained as a local government. In all, the summary contains 24 recommendations which include the division of powers between local government and a restructur- ' ed county government. FURTHER THOUGHTS Following initial public and council reaction, to the recommend- ation of I./educing the 31. municipal- ities to _16 units of , government, a second possibility came out of Meetings held earlier this week. It would reduce Bruce to 13 units of government, as opposed to the suggested 6. It suggests Lucknow, Kinloss, . Huron and Ripley as one unit of government with the town of.
