Wilfred Anderson of Lucknow
has returned to his home after
being hospitalized for five weeks in
Wingham and Guelph ' Hospitals,
where 'he underwent surgery.

Meet At Kincardine
The Bruce County part of the
Superannuated Teachers of Ontar-
io, numbering over eighty, met at
Sutton Park Inn, Kincardine, on
Tuesday, Jufie 17th, for the annual
dinner meeting.
Following the singing of the
grace, the Bell Ringers from the
Kincardine-Tiverton Central Public.
School, under the direction of Dale
Haldenby, entertained with music=
al numbers during the meal.
After all had partaken of a hearty
dinner, the president, Wilfrid
Campbell, welcomed all present
who represented the Bruce part of
District 10, which is made up of .
Bruce, Grey and Dufferin Counties.
He called upon the past president,
John Lockhart of Kincardine; to
officially install the executive for.
the present term, namely, presid-
ent, Wilfrid Campbell of Tiverton;
vice president, Mrs. Laura Taylor;
secretary-treas"urer, Mrs. Dorothy
Thompson; councillors, Mrs. Rex
Stewart, Mrs. Jessie Robinson and
Miss Dorothy MacKenzie, all of
Kincardine. ff

Following this the president
ntroduced two honoured guests,
THE LUCKNOW SENTINEL LUCKNOW, ONTARIO
Ward. Agnew of Owen Sound,
president of District 10 and J. C.
Stevenson. of Owen Sound, secret-
ary of District 10, Grey, Bruce and
Dufferin Counties.
Both of these men 'brought
greetings and spoke briefly.
The . guest speaker for the
occasion was Dr. Nora Hodgins of
Toronto. Dr. Hodgins' 'is well'
versed in all phases of the teaching
professiOn, having been secretary-
treasurer of the Ontario Teachers'
Federation from the year 1944 to
1974 and being active in all phases
of the Superannuated Teachers of
Ontario organization.
In 1973 she was recognized by
receiving an honourary Doctorate
Degree. Following her very
informative talk, was a short
`Question and Answer' period. It
was stressed that all retired
teachers could and should become
members by writing to S.T.O.,
1260 Bay Street, Toronto, Ontario,
M5R 2B5_
A corsage and a little gift were
presented to Dr. Hodgins as a
remembrance of her visit ' to
Kincardine.
• The Bruce S.T.O. was invited by
representatives from Walkerton,
Mrs. Sophia Hossfeldt and Mrs. M.
Dipple to have the next June 1976
dinner meeting there.
Thus was brought to close a
very enjoyable `get-together'
where mutual problems were
discussed and -many friendships of
past 'years renewed.
