marked the grade 8 graduation at a
special evening on Wednesday'
night of last week.
The program opened by the
singing of 0 Canada with ' Susan
Thompson accompanying at the
piano. PrinCipal Stuart E. Collyer
extended words of welcome and the
grade 8 students were introduced
by their teachers, Mrs. Ken
Wheeler and Mrs. jack 'Fisher.
Greetings from the Bruce County-
School Board were extended by
Neil McConnell, area superintend-
ent.
Singing and skits by the grade 8
classes, and a piano solo by Tom
Henderson, were part of the
program. The Valedictorian was
Norma MacIntyre, daughter of Mr.
and' Mrs. Donald C. MacIntyre.
The presentation of athletic
awards were made to junior girl
champ, Anita Guay; intermediate
girls, Linda Moulton; senior girls,
Gayle Williamson; junior boys,

first part of a 4-H exchange
program that will last until July

Indiana will be , returning their visit

July 22nd.

The' objective's of the 4-H
exchange program in Huron Coun-
ty are to give club members an
opportunity to meet 4-H er's their
own age, from another country and
to exchange ideas on different ways
Of life and different agricultural
practices. Part of the exchange is
being sponsored by local agricult-
ural groups and businesses
throughout the county.
