Happenings
The pupilS of Room 12 visited
Torontoon Friday, June 13. They
first experienced, .a rick on the
suway, ,Tiding from the Finch
Street station at the north to the
Parliament Buildings:- -
A tour of thee Parliament
Buildings then took place and we
wish to. thank Murray Gaunt,
M.P.P. for his assistance in this
part of our trip.
From there 'we visited the'
Metropolitan Toronto Zoo and
spent the afternoon there.
ROOM 11, GRADE 8 TRIP
On Thursday; June 12th, Room
11 ; accompanied by Mrs. Anderson
and Mr. Lawrence, boarded a bus
'driven by Mrs. Naylor and proceed-
ed to Tobermory. After visiting
Mr. O. C. Vail's Marine Museum,
we boarded the new ferry Chi
Cheemaun for ..a boat trip to
Manitoulin Island. After visiting a
souvenir shop .at South Baymouth
on the island, we returned to the
boat for the trip back to "The
Tub".
We then hiked up the beginning
of the Bruce trail after which we
took the bus for Owen Sound where '
we spent an hour shopping and

wedding anniversary, of her broth-
er, Mr. and' Mrs. Alfred Andrew,
The gathering was held at the
cottage of, their daughter Mr. and
Mrs. Ken Lucas on Lake Del-
rymple. They returned home
Sunday evening.
Mrs. Allan Gibson, Diane,
.Brenda and Glen attended the
Gibson reunion held at Ashfield.
Park on Sunday afternoon.-
' Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ritchie and
Mel had his sister, Mr. and Mrs.
Jim Smith and.Bill of Molesworth
Sunday afternoon.
Russel Swan's aunt, Miss. Marg-
aret Disher of GOderich, took very
ill and was admitted to Alexandra
Marine and General Hospital in
Goderich on Saturday.

honour of her daughter, Brenda,
whOse marriage takes place Satur-
day at 5, p.m.
having supper at the Grey County
Mall. We arrived back at
Brookside around 9 p.m. to end a
very enjoyable and educational
