Harvey Allen; Stewart and Sandra
Lorraine Maiie. The bride, the
daughter Of My. and Mrs. Harold
Maize of R. R. 1 Dun•gannOn, and
the groom, the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Lloyd Stewart of R. R. 1 Clinton,
were united , in a double 'ring
ceremony performed by Rev. R. C.
McClenaghan. :
Organist Mrs. Judy McMichael
accompanied soloist Miss Nancy
Errington ,in her rendition of
"Sunrise Sunset", and "We've
Only Just Begun".
The bride wore a full-length
princess style gown of Chantilly
lace with Mandarin neckline and
Mr. and Mrs. Art Smeltzer
visited last week with Mr. and Mrs.
Joe Majur oat . Eaglehart.

90th BIRTHDAY
A large crowd attended the 90th
birthday of Mrs. Thomas Welsh
held at the summer home of her.
daughter Mrs. Ted Wildfong:

Three tiny covered buttons adorned
the empire waist. The headpiece
had a tiny blue velvet ribbon and
streamers down the back with lily
of the valley with tiny white bells.
Identical gowns were worn by
bridesmaids, Mrs. Marg Smith of
London, sister of the groom; Mrs.
Roxy Maiie, the bride's sister-in-
law; and Miss Denise Maize, the
bride's sister, of Dungannon; Mrs.
Glenda Singh, a cousin Of the bride
from St. Thomas and Miss Doreen
McClinchey of Auburn. Each
bridal attendant carried a bouquet
of pink carnations, white mums,
and baby's breath trimmed with
trailing white streamers tipped
with pink carnationS.
The groom wore a powder blue
tux with dark blue velvet trim and
on his lapel, he wore a single red
rose. The'shirt was white with blue
ruffles.
Jim Medd of R. R. 1 Blyth was
best man, and Greg and Steve
Maize, the brothers of the bride • from Dungannon; Floyd Smith, the
groom's brother•.in-law, of London;
Terry Maize, the bride's brother
from Woodstock and Bob Watkins
of Londesboro were the ushers,
wearing a black tux with 'a tinted
blue .carnation in their lapels.
The wedding reception was held
in the Saltford Valley Hall, and was
attended by guests from Michigan,
St. Thomas, London, Tillsonburg,
Sudbury, Quebec, Toronto, Wood-
stock and Sarnia.
The mother of the bride received
guests in a sky blue ensemble
featuring a chiffon sleeved bodice,
floor-length skirt and sleeveless
coat. The neckline was accented
with Italian scroll embroidery
which continued to follow the front
I of the floor-length coat. She wore a
corsage of pink roses.
The mother of the grooin wore
a melon shade polyester Fortrel
gown styled in slender lines with 'a
matching cape. The, edge of the
cape was trimmed in deep match-
ing marabou caught at the top with
a tiny seeded pearl. The outfit was
finished with a corsage of white
roses.
The bride left for a wedding trip
through northern Ontario wearing
a melon coloured knee-length
polyester dress and high-wedged
white shoes, •
The couple have made their
home at R. R. 1 Clinton.
Prior to. her marriage, the bride
was entertained at showers, arrang-
ed by Mrs. Bernice Gross and Mrs.
Ken McDougall of Auburn; Mrs.
Grace Forbes and Mary Lyn of
Clinton; Mrs. Judy Redmond of
Holmesville and Miss Doreen
McClinchey of Auburn; Mrs. Roxy
Maize of Dungannon and Mrs.
Betty Maize of Woodstock; Mrs.
Doreen Medd and Kerri of R. R. 1
Clinton and Mrs. Marg Medd of R.

United Church Women, friends
and neighbours.
long fitted sleeves. The fitted
bodice was trimmed in valencia
lace and ruffles, which also
accented the cathedral train,-Sleev-
es and skirt. The full length veil of
French silk illusion edged with
Chantilly lace was held with a
garland headpiece of seed pearls
and lace. The bride carried a
bouquet of red roses, white
carnations, baby's breath and 'lily
of the valley. •
Matron of honour, Mrs. Betty
Maize of Woodstock, the bride's,
sister-in-law, wore a gown in
romance blue, strewn throughout
with tiny pink flowers. The dress
Was styled with a scooped neckline,
an empire waist rising to a
V-shaped bodice, and long slender
sleeves. The neckline, cuffs and

Kennedy Reunion
WHITECHURCH NEWS
The 44th annual Kennedy reun-
ion was held Saturday, June 14 at
Whitechurch Community Memorial
Hall , with an attendance of 86,
children and adults. .Whitechurch
Women's Institute catered for 'the
reunion, serving' 'a salad dinner.
Mrs. Jean Farquhason of Kam-•
loops B.C., almost 89 years of age,
attended and was presented with a
decorated birthday cake, which was
a complete surprise to her.
