Clifford of Detroit visited this week' in Lucknow with the former's sister Mrs. J. L. MacMillan and Mr. ' MacMillan and also with their sister Miss Abbie.Clifford, who is a patient in Avon Rest, Stratford. On Wednesday, June 11th, a number of Lucknow Women's Institute and • Junior Institute members attended a very enjoyable picnic of the Bruce South District W.I. at the United Church camp at Silver Lake. After a bounteous lunch at' noon, a -4-program and games were enjoyed. Mrs. Alex McNay conducted a 'contest on the things we have that our grand-. mothers didn't have, and gave a reading as a contribution to the program from the Lucknow branch. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wall of Lucknow have returned from a two week trip to Saskatchewan. They travelled by bus through Northern Ontario, returning through the United States. They visited with . Harry's , cousins, Roy and Clifford Thompson at Creelman, Saskatche- wan and called at Glen Ewan in Saskatchewan where his two uncles were buried. Donald MacLennan of Wingham , has won a free week at the Bobby Hull hockey school at Baffle. He plays minor hockey in• Wirigharit.
