Wilkinson. family. They were a big

attended the graduation on Wed 7
nesday morning of last , week for
their daughter, Barbara, at the .
University of Guelph. There were
two. hundred 'graduated on Wed-
nesday. The graduation continued
on Thursday and Friday to com-
plete the, class.. • On Sunday
-afternoon Barbara had a gradua-
tion gathering of about fifty-five at
Brookside Public • School' of rela-
tives, girl friends from Guelph,
Five Oaks, Paris and local girls,
ReV. and Mrs. James Hummel -of
Hickson. -and Rev. and Mrs. A.
Cook of Trinity, Ashfield.
Mr. and Mrs. John Hunter and
family had her niece, Mr. and Mrs.
'Ronald Stanley and Jason of
lucknow, Saturday evening. •
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Helm and
family had a bridal shower on
Sunday afternoon for Lillian Mitch-
ell of London the bride-to-be of
'Mrs. Helm's brother, Donald
Pollard of Ripley. The guests were

Bridesmaids were Mrs, Patti
Passmore of Port Elgin, sister-in-
law of the bride and Betty Hayes of
Lucknow, girl-friend of the bride.
Junior bridesmaid was Josee
Gorham of Toronto, niece of the
bride. • The bridesmaid's gowns,
were identical to the matron of
honour's.
Groomsman was Larry Nethery
of Brussels, brother-in-law of the
groom. Ushers were Briar! Gibb-
ons, brother 01 the groom and
Murray Dawson, cousin of the
groom. Door usher was Jay
Passmore, brother of the bride.
The , attendants all wore black
crushed velvet suits.
The bride's mother chose a gown
of light blue polyester with
matching lace jacket and corsage of
white mums.
The groom's mother wore a
gown' of white polyester with pink
and red flowers and corsage of
white mums.
The bride's grandmother, Mrs.
Gordon Darby of Lucknow, wore a
light green gown with matching
lace coat and corsage of white
mums.
The bride's travelling costume
was a cream and brown pant suit.

a square neckline, white collar and
short puffed sleeves and carried a
white bible and single red rose.

kuttan of Wroxeter and Miss
Heather Nielson of Gorrie, friends
of the bride. They wore, gowns of
grey, blue polyester with a square
neckline, white collar, short puffy
sleeves and each carried a white
bible and a single red. rose.
Flower girl was Rhonda McMich-
eal of Wroxeter. She wore a white
flowered polyester gown with
round neckline and carried a basket
of white daisies. .
Groomsman was Fred Nyland of
Seaforth, friend of the groom.
Ushers were Cam Reder of
Bayfield, friend of the groom and
Gordon Passmote of Lucknow,
brother of the groom. Door ushers'
were Lance Gibson of London,
brother of the bride and Pat
Passmore of Port Elgin, brother of
the groom. All the ushers wore
black crushed velvet: suits.
The bride's mother chose a
flowered pastel polyester gown and
corsage of white mums.
For travelling the bride wore a
green and yellow searsucker pant
suit.
