NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
to all persons in' possession of lands
in. any Municipality
in, the County of Huron
In accordance with the Revised Weed Control Act, 1972, Section
4, 14 and 20 and amendments thereto, that unless noxious weeds
growing on their land.s are destroyed by June 15, 1975 and
throughout the season; the Municipality may enter upon the
said lands and have the weeds destroyed, charging the costs
against the land in taxes, as set out in the Act.
The co-operation of all citizens is solicited.

ities that have lower Hydro rates than Lucknow.
However due to increased costs to the Lucknow Hydro Sys-
tem for power supplied by Ontario Hydro, materials and sup-
plies 'used in 'line construction, operation and maintenance, ex-
pansion and growth, salaries and wages, it has become neces-
sary to increase the hydro rates to you, the customer.
The new rates will become effective on all bills, issued on
and after June 1, ,1975.

Too late for last week
Last Tuesday friends and •
neighbours gathered at Jim' Mof-
fat's farm with tractors and
machinery to sow his spring crop.
Jim has been in, Winghain Hospital
• for some time and .is
again improving, so we hope he
will soon be able to be home.. Ten
tractors were on hand at the bee
and 65 acres seeded.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Steer,
Tracey and Heather of London
visited with his parents, Mr, and
Mrs. Philip Steer on Sunday.
Liane Young spent Friday night
and Saturday with, Heather Young.
Bible Stpdy was held at the home
of Jim and Jean Young on Saturday,
. evening. The last study of the,
season will be held at the home of
George and Linda Young.
Graham Moffat of Teeswater,
formerly of Langside, is in Victoria
Hospital, London where he under-
went surgery. We wish him a
speedy recovery.

Mrs. Jack McGuire received a
lovely surprise on Sunday evening
when she got a phone call from her
sister in New Zealand: Jim Black,
son of Mr. and Mrs. „Walter Black,
who has been on a trip for the past
.3 months to Mexico and Fiji, is now
in New Zealand and has been
staying ' with Mrs. McGuire's
family. He leaves for Fiji this

we all sat glued to the TV to see the
Ontario Legion Massed Pipes and
Drums in the Florida Bowl parade?
Well, this summer is the time to'
see them live and in person at 'the
giant parade on Saturday, August
2nd at 12.30. The Bluewater
• Buccaneers froth Sarnia, a fine
brass ensemble, will be in the
parade as well for your entertain-
ment. The publicity, committee are
geting together a few souvenirs of
the reunion that will be available
throughout the week end for
keepsakes of the event. As well,
there will be a History Book that
has been compiled by the historical
committee.
. Names are still coming in for
invitations to be sent to Old Boys
and Girls. It's a pleasure to 'chat
with the people as they phone.
