Pam Agnew has returned to
her home in Lucknow,. after
completing her first year at Huron
College, University of Western Ontario, London.
Mrs. Earl Wightman and Harvey
and Pharis Mathers spent the week
end in Niagara Falls. On Saturday
they were guests at the wedding of
Sheilla Maureen. Wightman and
James Wilbert Coombes in Stam-
ford United Church.
George McInnes of Lucknow,
Who was employed at J. E.
MacDonald's Service Station for
many years, is now at McTavish • Fina Service since the MacDonald
garage closed.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hunter, Neil
and Laura. of Pefferlaw spent the
week end with Mr. and Mrs. W. G.
Hunter.
Miss Ada Webster returned after
spending the past two weeks vis-
iting Mr. and Mrs. Watt Webster
and Mr. and Mrs. Mel Webster at
'Clinton and other relatives in
the area. She also Visited with
relatives and friends in Toronto and
district.
Mr.. and Mrs. Ralph Nixon and
family of Winghatn, Mr. and Mrs.
Delbert Nixon and family of
Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne
Nixon and family of Ripley were
week end visitors with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Nixon,
Belfast. •
Mrs. Cliff Crawford of Luck-
now and Mrs: Bert Crawford of
Goderich travelled by plane on
Tuesday to Vancouver where they
will visit with Mrs. Cliff Crawford's
daughter,—Mrs: 'Ted (Join) Avis,
Michelle and Lori, Lee. The two
ladies plan to return by bus to
Calgary and return the rest of the
way home by plane. They will be
away about two weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Con Hogan of
Ashfield spent, last week end in •
Glencoe with Mr. and Mrs. Kerry
Hogan, Todd and Chad.
Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Ritchie,
Karen and Kevin of Blyth visited'
with his mother Mrs. Gordon.
Ritchie, Lucknow, on Sunday.
Mrs. Jim Lukas of Wayne,
Michigan visited last week in
Lucknow with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. JOe Agnew, Pam and Joanne.

Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Murray Hunter of Wingham, was
baptized were, Mrs-. Ed Thom,
Mrs. L. C. Thompson, Mr. and
Mrs. Vernon Hunter, Mr. and Mrs.
Don Thompson, Susan, Nancy and
Donalda, all of Lucknow, Mr. and
Mrs. Forbes McLellan, Chris and
Melissa of Sarnia, Miss Joanne
Thompson of London, Rod McFar-
lane of Brampton and Ken Roberts
of Wingham. Following the service
they were guests at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Murray Hunter,
Jennifer and Mattheiv, when.
Jennifer was 'also celebrating her
4th birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Spence Irwin of
Lucknow had -As their guests Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Cross of London
and Mrs. Shera of Seaforth for a
delicious turkey dinner at Turn-
-berry Tavern on Wither's Day,
Raymond Dalton has returned to
his home at Kingsbridge after
spending a 6 week vacation with
family and relatives. Ray and his
nephew Morgan O'Connor of
Pickering-flew on March_ 1.5.._ from
the Toronto Airport to visit with the
former's son and daughter-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Danny' Dalton and
baby daughter Patricia Kathleen in
Tucson, Arizona. With a week's
vacation, the Daltons accompanied
their father and cousin and visited
their many relatives and friends in
San Francisco, Los' Angeles, Las
Vegas, etc. Returning home by
bus, Raymond visited with his
daughter and soh-in-law, Mr.. and
Mrs. Jim MacDonald and daugh-
ters Julie and Sh'dwna in Edmon-
ton, Alberta and with his sister
Mrs. Marjorie O'Connor, Picker-
ing, Ontario. Mr. O'Connor had
returned home earlier.
Enthusiasm is really the only
kind of fuel that will keep the
fires of ambition burning.
