The Ladies 6.30 Bowling League
•held their annual banquet and
social evening , at the Anglican
Parish Hall, 7 p.m. Monday, April
-28. A delicious beef' dinnet was
enjoyed by all the Jailies present.
The• tables were decorated with
novelty place cards made by each
captain and an assortment of small,
gifts was placed at each" setting.
Pat' Livingston thanked the ladies
of the church for • the delicious
meal,
A short business meeting was
held with president Catherine
Andrew presiding. Nominations
were held for new officers for the
1975-76 bowling season. New
officers are as follows: President,
Jessie Joynt; Vice President,
Bernice Kemp; Treasurer, Pat
Livingston; Secretary, Donna
Stauble. Norma ,McDonagh then
gave the treasurer's report.
The presentation of trophies and
gifts was conducted by the Vice.
President, Jessie Joynt.
The Bud Hamilton trophy was
presented by Marion MacKinnon
to, the captain of the Sapphires, Pat
Livingston, winners of the regular
season's bowling. Pat made a
fitting reply. Marion also present-
ed trophies to the team members,
Pat Livingston, Mildred Cameron,
Anne Purney, Janet MacPherson,
Gladys Moffat, Donna Stauble,
Ruby McDonald, Catherine Schmid
and Joyce Adamson.
The high season's average was
won by Ferne MacDonald,with 193,
she won 'the , high triple for the
season , with 710. A gift was
presented by Cora Thompson.
The high single for the season
was won by Mildred Cameron
with 304 and a gift was presented
by 'Ena Henderson.
The high team of the playoffs,
was the Rubies. The members'
were presented with gifts by
Mildred Cameron and replied to by

and Ena Henderson' 'the low.

Lucknow will 'have several teams
entered in minor ball competitions
this year. Pee Wee, Bantam and

VV.O.A.A. competition as well as
an Intermediate "A" team.
Coaches and managers are
