Student minister Bev Kay was one of nine students in his' class who took a ten day trip to the east coast. While there he met former Langside student minister, Lloyd Murdock. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Young and family visited Friday, evening with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pennington and family of .Culross. Frank Bongertman and Sserda Soloman of Scotland, Ontario visited this week end with his parents Mr. and Mrs.. Albert Bongertman, Mary- and Joanne. The Langside-Whitechurch young peoples met in Whitechurch Sunday evening. Several persons from this district attended the band 'concert in Lucknow Saturday evening and reported an enjoyable time. Farmers took advantage of the fine spring weather last week to begin seeding operations.
