They are the advance China Painters along with their teacher, Mrs. Dorothy Homes of Rexdale. Those in the ' class were, Mrs. Archetta Brocklebank, Mrs. Annie Holm of Walkerton; Mrs. Mary Mathers, VVingham; Miss Marg Machan, Mrs. 'Althea Devitt, Kincardine; Mrs. Eunice Cunning- ham, Mrs. Rhoda MacKenzie, Lucknow, and Mrs. Pearl MacKay, Ripley. • This class has taken three courses in china painting from Mrs. Holmes and feel honoured and grateful to have had such a talented teacher. • Mrs. Holmes is well known in Canada and USA for her painting of china and lamps. . China painting, which is fast coming back from being a lost art, is fascinating . and rewarding to thoSe who wish to persue it. Some of this class attended a seminar 'in Toronto in March and will attend another it June. This would not be possible if it wasn't for the hard work and encouragement of Mrs. Holmes. THAT The Senior Citizens Club of Kincardine royally entertained a bus load of the Lucknow Town and Country Club members last Thurs- day evening in Kincardine. C.G.I.T. Panel On Babysitting, Rights And Responsibilities The Lucknow Canadian Girls In Training meeting began Monday with a sing song. Worship was led by Nancy Warren and Joanne Ritchie. During the business, the girls decided on the committee they'd like to help with for the Mother and Daughter Potluck Supper on June 2. Leader, Elizabeth Ritchie handed out letters to parents with details of the Jamboree to be held June 20 to 23. The girls will register next Monday if they wish to go. Games were led -by Bonnie Clarke and. Mary Ann Ritchie. Mrs. Laura Lee Cayley question- ed a panel of Mrs. Margaret Hamilton, Mrs. Deanna Reavie, Miss Cathy Jamieson and Miss Irene Reitknecht on the topic of "The Rights and Responsibilities of the Babysitter and her Employ- er".
