What's New At Huronview The Goderich Township Wpm- en's' Institute volunteers assisted with Monday activities. Molly Cox, , Norman • Speir and Jerry Collins provided the old tyme music for the dancing and sing song. Members of the •Gorrie and . Wroxeter Women's Institute were hosts for the *April birthday party. Mrs. Alex. Graham was emcee for the program which included piano and violin duets by Ethel McMich- ael and Florence Dickison; reading by Wilma Clegg and a sing a long led by the Institute members. TWenty-nine residents having April birthdays received gifts. The eldest celebrant was Mrs. Mosack,, ninety•-nine and the youngest Margaret Kehn, who thanked the ladies on behalf of the residents. The Calvinettes,,an organization of thirty-six teenage girls and their Counsellors from the Christian Reformed Church, provided a variety program. for "Family Night". The program consisted of several musical numbers by the group, skits and dances. 'Counel- lors for the girls are Dianne and Joanne Verhoef, Francis Jongejan, Sandy Maaskant, Hilda Gilders, Neilie Dykstra and Chris Bylsma. Miss Bertha Deihl expressed the appreciation of the residents. Dayid Bere is home on leave this week before reporting at Petawawa C.F.B. to continue his engineering course. Ken Bowden's sale on Saturday was well attended and successful with everything being sold. Friends and relatives from Charing. Cross, Chatham and Thamesville were also in attendance. Rev. R. C. McClenaghan attend- ed the Social 'Welfare and Child- ren's Aid Provincial 'Conference in Toronto last week along with. about 1700 delegates from all over the province. Mrs. R. C.
