resenting Bruce County, won "the
best overall performance", at the
Middlesex Junior Fanners Drama
Festival held Saturday afternoon in
Dorchester. •
The play "The Sisters • McIn-
tosh" 'was directed by Mrs, Marg
Webster.
Brian Jeffray was awarded best
actor. Connie' McGlynn and Teresa
Millen shared honourable mention
for best actress.

the wedding 'of their son Richard to
Erna Filman. Also guests at the

grandparents Mr. and Mrs.. Art
Haldenby.

LANGSIDE
The sympathy of the community
is extended to Mrs. de Boer and
-family in the loss of a husband and
fatherrsgeter de Boer who passed
away in Wingham Hospital on
Thursday:March 20. The funeral
was held from Langside Church on
Sunday afternoon. , •
The regular card party was held
at Langside Hall on. Wednesday
evening with high prizes going to
William Young and Mrs. Claude
Dore and low to Karen .Young and
Perrin Dore.
On Thursday evening the resid-
ents on the sixth of Culross held a
card party at Langside Hall with a
good attendance reported. The
high prize went to Ronnie Dore and
Ruth Dore.
