FROM' PAGE 1 council meeting in /the absence. of Reeve George Joynt who was upstairs in the town hall at the time attending another meeting of area municipalities concerning fire serv- ices. Council expressed a concern about cars parked on both sides of Havelock Street in the vicinity of the Lucknow Presbyterian, Luck- now United and Lucknow Roman Catholic Churches, as well as the Bowling Alley, and on Outram Street near the Anglican Church. While the problem is not serious in . good weather months, winter`time presents occasions when there is not enough width to get the Fire Truck through. Lucknow Agricultural Society was voted a grant of $500, the sante as last year. The approval was not unanimous. with Councillor Gary Ritchie registering an opposing vote. TRIPLET CALVES .
