to the Achievement Night of
Lucknow Night School held at.,
Lucknow Central Public School.
The achievements of students in
the various classes were on display.
Certificates of accomplishment
were presented'.

each class instructor, presented the
certificates: liquid embroidery,

The neighbours of 'John Shetler,
who resides on the'former Dawson
Craig farm, were sorry to'learn On
Friday that while working with his
black team getting out wood in the
bush; ' one 'of the team' had the
misfortune to step on the axe
cutting the tendons so badly that
the vet was unable to do anything
to save its leg and the horse had to
be destroyed.
FaCes of, most of Wingham High
School pupils showed a sigh of
relief on Friday night for •the exams
were over and all could enjoy the
holidays, even though when school,
re opens in a -week's time they
maybe doomed to. disappointment.
