prior, to last, week's game here
which attracted a large crowd.
Ian Montgomery scored 3 goals
and had. 2 assists; Dennis Thomp-
son scored twice; Kevin Murray
had two goals and an assist;
Murray Thompson had a • goal and
an assist; Bob McGillivray, Cam
Cook and Kevin Ackert each
registered 1 assist.
Lucknow ended the season with
4 players in the top ten scorers of
the 11 team group which had all
classification of teams. Stewart
Mann was second in the scoring
with 55 points. A Mount Forest
player led the league, with, 68
points. Kevin Murray was 8th with
41 points, Ian Montgomery and
Kevin Ackerto were tied for 9th in
the scoring with 40 points each..
Finals Start In
Town and Country
Hockey League
On Thursday, March the sixth,
the final round in the Town and
Country hockey starts between the
Holyrood Butchers and the Kintail
Flyers.
These two teams earned the
right to play, in the final round with
Holyrood eliminating Kingsbridge
two straight and Kintail Winning
over Lucknow by the same. margin.
During the regular season these
two teams each defeated one
another twice, so this final round
should be very close and exciting.
Lucknow and Kingsbridge will
meet in the Consolation Finals.
These two teams should also have a
very close final round as Kings-
bridge beat Lucknow twice and lost
and tied a game with the Lucknow
squad.
Both the Finals-and the Consola-
tion Finals will be the best three
out of five series. So come out and'
cheer for the team or teams of your
choice this Thursday.

Champions
The Lucknow Pee Wee hockey
team won the W.O.A.A. 'D" .
Championship. here in Lucknow on
Friday night defeating Milverton
Pee Wets 4-1. This Was the second
game' in a best two out of three
game. series.
Lucknow'. travelled to MiNerton
on Monday, • February 24 .and
defeated 1Viilverton 8-3. This game
was a rough one with the Milverton
boys carrying their sticks every-
where but on the ice. Several
Lucknow lads were clipped with
high sticks. When Milverton
realized that our lads "Feared Nae
Foe" 'they settled down and played
hockey., Lucknow, with a complete
team effort in .the third period,
came through to win. Penalties
proved costly in the third period for
the Milverton team. --
Due 'to bad weather the second
game between these two teams had
to be postponed. until Friday,
February 2'8 *hen Lucknow played
host to . Milverton at the arena..
This was a good game to see as
both teams were out to ' win.
Tension • was high on both teams,
Milverton not wanting to , be
eliminated and Lucknow having
their eyes on the trophy., Milverton
played. a defensive game, their
goaltender making some great
saves, but Lucknow, with the entire
team working and their 'great
desire .to win, proved to be the
stronger team and they clefeatea
Milverton 4-1 making it ' two
straight. They will now enter into
the OMHA" playoff series.

In Playoffs
Lucknow Atoms' were defeated
5-4 in a playoff final game in.
Brussels on Saturday, a real thriller
which went into overtime.
LucknOw took the lead • in
overtime in the hard fought
contest, only to have Brussels come
back with two . unanswered goals.
Goal scorers for Lucknow were
Glen Raynard from Allan Eadie and
Don Greer, Arthur Clark from Glen
Raynard, David Gibson from Allan
Eadie, Glen Raynard from David
Gibson and Arthur Clark.

In the consolation playoffs on
Monday in Lucknow arena, Luck:
now was victorious over Paisley
3-2.
• Lucknow's goals were scored by,

Gibson from Paul 'MacIntyre, Don
Greer from Glen Raynard and
David Gibson.
Bantams Win
In High Scoring
• Lucknow Bantams have again
trounced their ,opposition. They
have",two more wins to their credit
again this week. Sunday night in
the local arena,' Paisley received
the treatment, with the ;score:
ending 8-3.. Mark Frayne scored
five goals, Eric Cayley two goals
and Steve Hamilton one goal. • Tom
Sinnett had six assists, Eric Cayley
3 assists, Mark Frayne. Rein ,
Johnson, Grant Gilchrist and Steve
Hamilton, One assist each.
Monday night in a game played
in Milverton, the scoring machine
.again went to work. The final scOre
Luckpow 9,' Milverton 2.
Mark Frayne, again led the
attack with four goals. Eric Cayley
scored two, Alex Irvin, Steve
Hamilton and Paddy Murray, one
goal each. Asists went to Tom
Sinnett, three, Eric Cayley, three,
and Mark Frayne one.
Lucknow plays in Paisley this
Sunday and back in Lucknow-
Tuesday night, against Hensall.
