On Tuesday, February 11th the
Brownies opened. 'their meeting
with a game of "Statues".
Brown Owl and Snowy Owl set
up the craft corner while Tawny .
Owl collected Brownie Gold from
the Sixers. Everyone then went to
the craft corner and made a
Valentine craft.
The Brownies were reminded
that next week will be the Thinking
Day meeting. Luanne MacLeod
passed her test for running: an
errand. — •

Goderich 5 -1
Lucknow Flea hockey team con-
tinue to chalk up more wins. Their
latest victim was the Goderich B
team in. a ,game played. in Lucknow
last Saturday night.
Goderich opened: the scoring
early in the first period and looked
as if they might slow down the
Lucknow powerhouse. HoWever,
the local boys, not to be Outdone;
sent five unanswered goals, past the
G6derich netminder. Final score
was 5-1.
Lawrence Clark and Donnie
Peterson scored two goals each and
Steve Alton added a single. Assists
went to Jamie Bere,. two; :Todd
Ritchie and Alex. West, one each.
Juveniles Now I
Chump Series
Lucknow Juvenile hockey team-
dumped Paisley in two straight
games• in the W.O.A.A.' "D"
semi-finals. •
The Friday game in Paisley
ended with a 5 - 2 score. Ian
Montgomery and Stewart Mann
scored twice each with Stewart
picking up an assist. Dennis
Thompson scored the other, goal.
Bob McGillivray scored two assists
with Jeff Taylor, Ken Reid and
Kevin 'Ackert each counting one
assist.
Lucknow won again 10-5' in
Lucknow Sunday. Ian • Montgomery
scored 4 goals, Stewart, Mann 2
goals, John Hamilton, Kevin Mur-
ray and Dennis Thompson each
scored once with Dennis also
picking up an assist. Ken Reid had
a goal and _two assists. Murray
Thompson registered 2 assists,
Gord. Black and Bob McGillivray, 1 .
each.
Lucknow now meet Mildmay in
the W.O.A.A.'"D" Championship'
in a best-of-five series. They play
Wednesday, F,ebruary 19 in Luck-
now at 8 p.m.
House League
Hockey Results
On February 15th in the first
game, the Flyers defeated the
Kings 3 to 1. Steve Harman,
•Shayne Hickey and' Rick Harman
were the marksmen for the Flyers
while Mike McDonagh registered
the lone goal' for the Kings.
In the second game the Islanders
trimmed the Seals 7 to 2. •
Alan Rivett and Jim Foran each
notched a pair for the Islanders.
Singles went to Pat Boyle, John,
Boyle and Bernie Burgsma. • Jeff
Austin and Brian Taylor replied for
the Seals. •
:In the third game the Canucks
edged the Sabres 3 to, 2 to retain
first place in the standings.
Richard Jurjens dented the twine
twice while Steve -Howard added a
single for the. Canucks. David
Atkinson and Floyd Courtney each
tallied for the Sabres. '
