On Tuesday, January 14th the
Brownie's • started their meeting
with a game "One, Two, Three'',
followed by Brownie Ring. • Tracey
• McDonagh 'was Fairy Queen and
Brown Owl did •inspection. The
sixers collected Brownie Gold and
everyone repeated the Brownie
Prayer.
At work period Brown Owl
taught compass to the Golden
Ladder Brownies. Cadet 'worked
with Judy Hunter and Tracey
McDonagh •while they washed their
Brownie tie. Tawny Owl had the

Property Problems
'Fhe'January meeting was held at
the home' of Mrs. Roy Finlayson. •
The President, Mrs. Clarence
Ritchie, opened, the meeting • with
the "Ten Commandments for •the
Institute", followed by the Open-
ing Ode and Mary Stewart Collect.
The .scripture James 3, was read by
Mrs. 'Hank Hartemink. Thank you
notes were read from, members,
who were remembered at 'Christ-
mas. $25,00 is to be ,sent to "Save
the Sight Fund".
Standing committee reports were
given and Mrs. Ira Dickie gave a'
report of Ladies Day held in
Hanover when she attended Farm
Week. The Curator, Mrs. Leonard •
MacInnes, would ' like to have
history of farms for the Tweeds-
muir History Book. The roll, call. - I
shop to save my budget, was most
interesting.
Mrs. Cliff Rotilston took the'c4air
for the following program. Mrs.
Dickie introduced the speaker Mr.
Warren Zinn. He had a most ,
informative talk on Property Prob-
lems, as well the members in
attendance brought upa number of,
questions which made the topic
Golden Bar' Brownies learning how
to sew on buttons. Helen MacIn-
tyre, Luanne MacLeod, Debbie
Huffman and Catharine MacLeod
passed, their- test for singing God
Save the Queen and 0 Canada.
Tracey McDonagh ran an errand
and Rpsalea Cameron passed her
test for getting a parcel ready for
mailing.
During *Pow Wow Brown Owl
presented 1st year service stars to
Rosemiry Gilmore, Rosalea Cam-
eron and Tracey McDonagh.
Tracey also received her Golden
Bar. Shirley Loree showed the four
articles she had made for the Craft
Badge.
The• meeting closed with the
Squeeze and Taps.'

Mowbray thanked the speaker and
presented a gift.
Mts. Hank Harternink had a
contest, followed by a reading by
Mrs. Ted Collyer, "Preserving a
Husband's. Mrs. Roulston spoke

remarks.' The Meeting was closed
with the singing of 0 Canada and '
