have been busy last week quilting
in the church basement.

Goderich spent.the week end at her
home here. •
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Morrison of.
Little Current arrived :in Lucknow
on Saturday and visited with Mr.
and Mrs. Jim Morrison till Sunday,
when they proceeded to Brantford
to attend. the funeral of his sister,
Mrs. Norma Taylor, being held
there• on Monday.
'Mrs. 'Evan Keith, Mrs. Bob
Bregman of Culross , and Mrs.
Wallace Milligan were at Mrs.
Victor Emerson'',S on Friday audit-
ing Maitland Presbyterial books, of
which Mis. Keith is treasurer.
The Y.P:S. are planning an old
fashioned evening of entertainment
when a box social will be held.
More details will be coming next
week.
The annual reports of Chalmers
Preshyterian Church were on hand
on Sunday, January 19 with the
annual meeting being held Friday
afternoon, January 24th at 1.30 in
the Church' 'Sunday school room.

On Friday this community was
sorry to learn that Mrs. Norma
Taylor, the former Norma Morrison
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.J.
B. Morrison, had passed away at
Brantford. Her home was on the
farm now owned by Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Morrison, and she attended S.
S. No. 10: The' community extends
their sympathy to the brothers' and
sisters.

family of Woodstock spent the
week end with Mr. and Mrs. R. M.
DesRoches and family.,
Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Beebroft,
Angela and Jennifer.of•Exeter were
Monday visitors with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Beecroft.
Mack Inglis of Highgate spent
the Week end, with his mother Mrs.
Torn Inglis, Betty and Tom and
visited with his brother Alex.
Mrs. Archie Purdon and Mrs.
Walter Elliott attended 4-H train-
ing school at Ripley Friday and
Saturday for the project, Lets Bake
Bread, which' the leaders say is
most interesting.
