.Lyons, curling with Diane Brooks,
Allan MacKay 'and Noella Kydd;
with three wins, .a plus of nine and
an 'aggregate of thirty, nosed out:
Ron Farrell's rink, curling on the
later draw. Roll's crew of Barbara
Paquette, Wayne Elliott and Ursula
Burnett had, the same' record but
took 'second positioh with an
aggregate of twenty-seven. On the
early draw Jack Scott's , rink, with
two, wins' and a plus of six took,
second place.' Jack had assistance
from Sandra Kempton, Don Paqu-
ette Jr:, and Kate- • Hunter. 'Jim
MacTavish, curling with Joan
Courtney, Doug Coultes and Mary
'Needham, took third spot with two
wins and, a plus of four. Other rinks
on this draW were skipped by John
D. Coiling; Howard Hodge and
Sandy MatCharles..
Second place on, the •later draw
Was taken by Don .Paquette, with
Elaine Pollock, Harold Elliott and
Diane Farrell, with two. wins, and a
pins of nine. Third spot 'went to
Jim MacDonald with two wins and
a plus of two, curling with Janice
Rutherford, Tom Andrew and,
Claudia MacDonald. Skipping
other rinks on this draw were Doug
MacDonald, Don Gaunt and Doug
Lackey.

Bantams Play
Three In Week
LucknoW Bantam hockey team
played three games 'in the past
week, losing two and winning one.
In the first game played in
Teeswater last Monday night, they
were defeated 6-2. Mark Frayne
and Paddy Murray scored the two
goals. Tuesday night in Lucknow
they were defeated by Mildmay,
4-2. Both local goals were scored
by Mark Frayne.
Thursday night the team travel-
led to Mildmay and won that game.
5-4... Mark Frayne scored three
goals with singles going to • Paddy
Murray and Grant Gilchrist.

In the second game the Kings
edged the Flyers 2 to 1, Morris
Van Osch and Brent Van Osch
dented the twine for the Kings.
Mark Gunter scored the only goal•
for 'the Flyers.
In the third game. the Canucks .
edged the Sabres 2 to .1.. Shawn
Drennan and , Steve Howard each

hard to edge a determined Ripley
team by 7-6 score.

Starting the game with only one
regular defenceman meant every-
one had to put out and they did, Ian
Montgomery got the hat trick and
Bob (1:Donohue, provided steady
goaltending.
Scoring for .Lucknow were: Ian
Montgomeryn goals, 1 assist; Jim
`Murray, 4 assists.; Boyd Carruth-
ers, 2 goals; Dave MacKinnon, '2

At home Sunday night, Lucknow
trounced Harriston 11-4. Starring
for Lucknow was John Emberlin
with 3 goals and 5 assists. Again
Bob O'DOnohue was consistant in
goal.
A steady defence and three hard
working lines kept Fiarristott off
balance most of the time. - Jim
Murray also had another good
night with the hat trick and 2
assists.

Humphrey,, scored for Lucknow.

,Blyth where they won by a 4-2'
score/. Marksmen for Lucknow

well played game by all: team
members, especially Jerry Searle
in goal.
Lucknow played in Blyth Monday
night of this week, January 13; and
won by a Score of 3-2. Marksmen
for Lucknow were Wayne Phillips
from' Art Clark, George Alton
unassisted and Wayne Phillips
from Art Clark.
