which united in marriage Helen
Ann Holloway of Wingham and
Peter Alan Chisholm of Lucknow
on Saturday, November 30, at
Sacred Heart Chureh in Wing-
ham. Lighted candelabra and
flowers formed the setting
around the altar.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Stuart Holloway of
Wingham. Given in marriage by
her father, the bride chose,a clas-
sical Mori Lee gown in crystal
polyester crepe with rounded bib-
be,d front with tiny rows of seeded
pearls, high mandarin neckline
and long sleeves. The gown fea-
tnred a flowing skirt caught at
MOVIE
On the last day of school before
the Christmas Holidays the Stud-
ents Council showed a film called
"Sometimes a Great Notion" star-
ring Paul Newman,. Henry Fonda
land Michael Sarzan. Everyone
enjoyed two hours of relaxed
viewing pleasure.
VOLLEYBALL
The teachers again this year
challenged the winners of the boys
and girls intermural volleyball, to an
almost profesSional game Of volley-
ball. ' To the surprise of the
teaChers the student team proved
to be 'a bit more Superior. The.
referees did cheat .a little but they
cheated for both teams, even as far
as the teachers' team attaining 6
points for a touehdown. 'Guest
appearances were made by 'Mr.
Kentucky Fried Chicken and Bozo
the, Clown.

lace was gathered at the bibbed
front and trimmed the sleeves,
hemline and chapel train.' Her
headdress was a Juliet caplet
with matching lace .and seeded
pearls caught with a four-tiered
pure silk illusion veil. She carried
a bouquet of white roses and gar-
denias.
Gowned' identically were the
three bridal attendants, the maid
of honor, Kim Mellor of Wing-
ham, cousin of the •bride, and
bridesmaids Laurie and Nancy
Chilholin, sisters of the groom,
both of Lueknow. Their gowns
were white flowers on a blue,
background knit, V. neckline ex-
tending into ties at the, back with
long sleeves gathered at' the
wrists. They carried bouquets of
white' and pink carnations,
Greg Hunter, 'friend of the
groom, was best man and guests
were ushered by Mark Chisholm,
Lucknow, brother of the groom,
and Stuart Holloway Jr. of Wing-
ham, brother of the bride. They
wore' grey tintedos with black •
trim, blue on white ruffled shirti,
'black4140-\erbow ties and black
cummerbunds.
A dinner and. reception fol-
lowed in the Legion Hall in Wing-
ham.
Thernother of the bride wore a
sleeveless floor-length gown of
yellow flowered sheer nylon
crepe with a floor-length 'match-
,ing jacket and a corsage of burnt
orange carnations. The groom's
mother chose a floor-length dusty_
rose knit gOwri- with a white and
pink rose corsage.
• The bride was honored with a
miscellaneous shower given by
the maid of honor, Kim Mellor; a
relative shower given by Mrs.
Bed Chisholm, Goderich; and a
community shower by Mrs. Ger-
ald Prie tap... The couple was also
surprised by a party given in
their honor by Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Ritchie of Kincardine.
.Mr. and Mrs. Chisholm ,Will re-
side in Lucknow. The bride is em-
ployed at Hodgins-McDonald in
Wingham.. The groom, a grad-
uate of Humber College in Tor
onto, is employed as an instrum-
entation field technician at Bruce
Generating Station.

McClenaghan. Miss " Beatrice

tended the gathering also but had
to go baCk to work for two days
before coming home 'again for a

ACTORS .
The teachers, when they put on
their play on the last day of school,
showed what little acting talent
they had. Although trying very
hard and playing a very hard role,
Mr. Coultes didn't play a very
convincing corpse.' A pat on the

MUSIC SOCIETY
The twelve days of. Christmas
was the song portrayed in the
music, society's production for all
those asking questions,. The only
things that were Missing were
Three French Hens and no pipers
piping but we, did have some pretty
fancy Leaping Lords.
There is nothing to 'say about the
Drama but excellent. Robert
please return the pyjatnas to Miss
Fisher before February 1st..
