Dear Fellow Workers,
We are sorry to interrupt this cheer-
fulness and good fellowship of this in-
formal social gathering with this
formal address, but there are times in
life when we meet speak out the
thought of hearts and this is one of
thew,
We do not linea but ere this you
have have gathered from our epeale
and conntennence, the purpose of this
gathering, but one thing we know we
could not hide from you and this fir
our veep sense of lose in cones•quence
of your removal from our midst„ Re-
movals, enlistments and marriages
have wrought havoc with nut choir,
and we feel keenly the thinning of
our ranks, but our sense of loss is
somewhat natigated by the conncience-
nese that this separation is a lose to
you as well.
We feel that, ou will still be inter-
ested in us, and we assure you that we
will always he deeply interested in
your welfare, because of the pleasant
a'sociatione of days gone by. We
cannot forget your faithfulness and
valued services as soloist and organist
and we ask yon, Tese]e to accept this
clock, and you Lillie this casserole, as
a slight token of our appreciation and
esteem and as a reminder to you of
your old friends in Knox choir.
Signed on behalf of the choir.
