The Warden’s Novice Award for the top novice 4-H member obtaining the highest standing on the Basis of Awards in Huron County went to Keshia Bishop. Tonya Drost of the Huron Sheej^ Club received the award for the high­ est number of points on the basis of awards for 4-H club work in 2000 which was sponsored by Don Pullen, former Agricultural Representative with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in Clinton. The Murray Cardiff Citizenship Trophy for the 4-H member who best exemplifies the goals and aims of 4- H was presented to Sandra Alton of the Lucknow Beef Club. LIFE SKILLS In the Port Albert Life Skills Club in Consuming Passions are Jennifer Bere, Colleen Caesar, Kasey Crawford, Alysha Crawford, Tracy Gutmanis, Jenn Logtenberg, Jessie i Logtenberg, Cori MacKinnon, Jennifer MacLean, Jessica Maize, Jeni Maize, Brodie Ryan, Matthew Small and Jenna VanOsch. In the Animal Friends group are Kasey Crawford, Alysha Crawford, Tracy Gutmanis, Nikki Howard, Jenn Logtenberg, Cori MacKinnon, Jennifer MacLean, Jeni Maize, Jessica Maize, Elise Matthews, Justin Miller, Brodi Ryan, Matthew Small and Jenna VanOsch.' The leaders are Donna Hayden and Judy MacKenzie. There were six candidates for the award and the winner this year was Sandra Alton of the Lucknow Beef Club. Presenting the award to the winner was Bryon Black, president of the Huron County 4-H Leaders Association, (canton News-Record photo) Richelie Tomlinson. The leaders of these clubs are Bev Broadfoot, Linda Dixon and Pat Saundercock. The Bluevale Life Skills Club is being led by Jacquie Bishop and Joyce Johnston. In the Batter Up Club are Keshia Bishop, Emily Cardiff, Keshia Carter, Yvonne DeWit, Michelle DeWit, Amanda Dorsch, Emily Elston, Leanne Elston, Rachel Garland, Jill Johnston, Coral Nicholson, Kyle Schlosser, Amber Sellers and Amanda Shaw.
