The responsive reading was from Samuel 2: 1-10. Hannah prayed and said, “My heart exults in the Lord; my strength is exalted in my God. My mouth decides my enemies, because I rejoice in my victory.” The Old Testament reading was Samuel 1: 4-20 and the Epistle read ing was Hebrews 10: 11-14. 19-25. The Gospel lesson was Mark 13: 1- 8. The meditation was based on Hannah. Stephen Nixon and John Dorsch took up the offering. Following the service lunch a time of fellowship followed in the basement.
