The Friday night supper crowd enjoyed sweet and sour chick­ en. Next week is pizza casserole. As well the Holstein Producers held their annual meeting upstairs on Friday night. Saturday afternoon euchre saw a lot of new faces. There were 11 tables at play. The first place winners were Edith Yeodon and Terry Ward. Tied for second place were Tim Dilworth and Jim Smith, Isabel Gray and Shirley Dittmer and Norma and Helen Dobson. Lone hand winners were Harvey Edgar and Hazel Reid. The last euchre of 2000 is Dec. 9. The Knights of Brussels and fami- Maitland Country Club, Mitchell Golf and Country Club, River Valley Golf and Country Club, St. Marys Golf and Country Club, Seaforth Golf & Country Club, Stratford Country Club, Stratford Municipal Golf Course, Tavistock Golf Course, Wingham Golf & Curling Club and Woodlands Golf Course. This is the ninth year that The Lung Association, Huron-Perth has offered Golf Privilege Cards and lies from afar enjoyed Christmas din­ ner upstairs. Harold Knight was in charge and reports everything went well and a good time was had by all. Even Santa stopped in for a visit. Darts Ontario was at the Branch on Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening only a small crowd enjoyed the Country Troubadors because of the foggy weather. Memberships are due and by the time you read this your chance at the early bird draw will be missed. Let’s try and get those dues paid before Jan. 1. Our thoughts are still with Comrade Al Nichol for improving health. Meat draws are Saturdays at 5 p.m. most of the courses have been involved since that first year.
