Last week we were suddenly
reminded of what goes with a winter
in midwestern Ontario. Even in the
snowbelt , it was a shock to see so
much snowfall in such little time.
During all of this wicked weather
numerous people informed me that
they had observed lightning and
heard thunder.
Going by ancient history this is an
indication that we will be facing six
more weeks of open weather, as
unusual as that sounded at the time.
Then the weatherman predicted this
snow’ squall storm would move out
in the week as a warm air front from
out west moved in.
Low and behold, he was right this
time. Now all the precipitation that
fell in the form of snow, quickly
began melting away thanks to the
sunshine and warm temperatures, as
well as rain moved into our
locality.
After having some time to think
things over and evaluate the weather
I have come to a conclusion.
Obviously Mother Nature had final
ly informed Old Man Winter to go
his room and stay there, “WEATH
ER” he liked it or not! Now let us
keep our fingers crossed that he does
not “STORM” out and retaliate!
