On behalf of the Blyth and Area Business Association we would like to thank everyone who supported our village this past weekend and joined in on the festivities. The fresh falling snow added the finishing touch to the decorations. Mason Bailey welcomed everyone and officially opened the Christmas Season and the lights were turned on. Special thanks to Bill, Murray and Ken for all their hard work decorating our village, it looks great. To Mrs. Cheryl Cronin and the students from Blyth Public School, for leading us in a carol sing­ song and Murray Siertsema for giving wagon rides to young and old through the village streets, all was much appreciated. Barbecued hot dogs were served by the Blyth Boy Scouts and hot chicken noodle soup was generously donated and served by Grand View Restaurant.
