PAGE 28. THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2000. Obituaries CHRISTOPHER JOHN LARSEN Christopher John Larsen of Sarnia passed away in Waterloo, Ontario on Monday, Oct. 30, 2000. He was 20. Christopher was an Honour stu dent in Business at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University. He enjoyed his summers at the Sarnia Bay Marina and he loved the outdoors. He was the much loved son of Ron and Ann (McKercher) Larsen and loved brother of John at home and Heather of Toronto. He was the beloved grandson of Glen and RRHC sponsors FAS/FAE workshop Rural Response for Healthy Children (RRHC) is sponsoring a free educational workshop to increase awareness of the effects of drinking alcohol of any sort during pregnancy. The workshop titled: Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) and Fetal Alcohol Effects (FAE) Strategies for Prevention in Huron County “A Healthy Start ... we can make a difference” is a part of November’s Drug Awareness Week. This is a workshop for anyone and everyone who recognizes or won ders about the spectrum of chal lenges for children who are person ally exposed to alcohol and the pre vention of FAS/FAE. Dr. Rosanne Field will open the workshop addressing What is it? What does it look like? What can we do about it? Andrea Robinson who facilitates the parent support group for the Guelph area will talk as a Parent-to-Parent: Life with FAS/FAE.
