Betty Battye also lent a witchie hand by showing off a few tricks for the children. These consultants are highly trained and experienced professional coaches. They met with the Blyth Skating Club on Friday, Jan. 21 and spent their time watching and inter­ viewing the coaches and members of the executive. Carolyn Allwright, of Skate Canada, was very pleased with the On Monday, Oct. 30 there were enough people in attendance to have seven tables of euchre in Bainton’s Gallery. Keep up the good work!” The Blyth Skating Club is a non­ profit skating organization dedicated to providing members with skating plished by Ruth Jardin for the ladies and Jean Nethery for the men. Kay Konarski and Charlie Bromley earned the most lone hands for the night, while May Tumbull and Lome Dale obtained the low scores for the night. Keep in mind that the weekly euchre will not be held Nov. 13 due to the upcoming municipal election. Do. not hesitate to come out to place your vote for your councillors. KATHY’S QUOTE OF THE WEEK: This week hunters are out in full force to obtain the ‘deerest’ cut meat. It is called venison. and achievement skills. Their skat­ ing program begins in October and continues until early Registration will be held again in early December for those who missed out on the first 10 week ses­ sion. Special events such as Bring a Friend Night will be held on Friday, Nov. 10. The Skate-a-thon and Carnival Night are just a few of the fun events this club arranges for the members.
