It’s for that feeling deep inside
It’s that reward down in your heart
It’s that feeling that you’ve been a
part
Of helping others far and near.
Those lines sum up the message
the program group wished to convey
on Monday, Oct. 23 at the
Londesboro United Church
Women’s meeting.
Marjorie Duizer, Cheryl
Trewartha, and Betty Hulley with
relevant hymns, scripture stories and
a reading, encouraged the ladies to
share what God has given them with
the less fortunate.

Sunday, Oct. 29 was classified as
Observer Sunday at Londesboro
United Church. Greeting
churchgoers were Edna Reid and

The Old Testament scripture
passage was II Kings 4: l-7 and
Psalm 126 was the basis for the
response psalm. New Testament
lessons were found in Philippians 2:

From the storybag during the
children’s time came an Observer

changes
A public meeting regarding the
rezoning of Lot 15, Cone. 1 was held
in conjunction with the Oct. 17
session of Morris Twp. council.
The intention of the rezoning is to
change the north half of the lot from
general agriculture (AG 1) to general
agriculture-special provisions (AG
1-12). It would allow a maximum of
six persons to be employed full-time,
other than the owner, for the
accessory welding and machine shop
and office. The area to be rezoned is
approximately 50 acres.
While there were no objections
from the Huron County Planning
Department, neighbour Doug
Gamiss asked why the AG 1 land at
the back of the property needed to be
rezoned.
Gary Davidson of the planning
department noted that was a good
point and probably should be taken
out of the rezoning.

Hullett’s best finish was third in the

Having seen abject conditions,

for every child who needs one. A $30
donation pays for a bed kit of 20
items: blankets, some clothing,
personal care items and some school
supplies. The kits vary from country
to country depending on the needs
and conditions.
Items for the kits are found in the

Rev. Ross’s message was Sounds

magazine. It took some time for her
to draw him away from his
newspaper and flyers. Eventually he
