Obituaries ISABELLE AGNES HENRY Mrs. Isabelle Agnes Henry of Blyth passed away at the Clinton Public Hospital on Friday, Oct. 6, 2000 in her 77th year. Isabelle was bom on Nov. 11, 1923 in East Wawanosh Twp., the daughter of the late Walter James McGill and the late Margaret Luella McManus. She was the beloved wife of the late John Robert “Bob” Henry who predeceased her on March 29, 2000. Isabelle was a retired elementary school teacher having taught in St. Joseph, Clinton, Blyth and East Wawanosh schools. She was also a member of Trinity Anglican Church and Trinity Anglican Church ACW, Blyth. and of the Order of the Eastern Star. Isabelle was the dear mother of Sheila and Joe Hallahan of Blyth, Sandra and Bill Rathwell of Brucefield, Jim and Janice Henr' if Blyth, John and Lynne Henry of Brussels, Ron and Mary Lou Henry of Goderich and Neil Henry of Blyth. She will also be sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and four great­ grandchildren. Isabelle was predeceased by one infant son, Ian Henry, one grand­ daughter Stephanie Henry and by one sister Marion Henry. By request there was no funeral home visitation. Funeral services were held at Trinity Anglican Church, Blyth on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Nancy Beale offi­ ciating. Interment followed in Blyth Union Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Henry, Shaun Henry, Manny Taylor, Brian Buffinga, Scott Rathwell and Bevan Diebold. Flowerbearers were Andrea Henry, Krista Buffinga, Kerry Diebold and Michelle Hallahan. Donations to Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Beattie-Falconer Funeral Home, Clinton. GLADYS MAE JOHNSTON Mrs. Gladys Mae Johnston of Blyth passed away at the Clinton Public Hospital on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000 in her 94th year. Gladys was bom on May 6, 1907 in West Wawanosh Twp., a daughter of the late Leonard Cook and the late Ella May Taylor. Gladys was a member of the Blyth United Church. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Norman Victor Johnston who predeceased her in 1957. Gladys was the dear mother of Bernice and Gordon Shortt of Brantford and Elaine Alblas and friend John of Huron Park. She will also be sadly missed by 13 grand­ children and 15 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Harold and Zora Cook, Mabie Riley and Russell and Marion Cook. She was predeceased by an infant son Murray Johnston, son, Donald Johnston in 1991, a daughter Doris Bulmer in 1999 and by two brothers Orval and Mansel Cook. Funeral services were held at the Blyth Visitation Centre, 407 Queen St., Blyth on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ernest Dow of the Blyth United Church and nephew Pastor Les Cook of the Church of God, Blyth officiating. Interment followed in the Clinton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary Alblas, Kevin Alblas, Dennis Johnston, Doug Shortt, Graham Jackson and Mark Nethery.
