Total receipts at Brussels
Livestock for the week ending Oct. 6
were 3,992 head of cattle and 361
lambs and goats.
Fed steers and heifers sold on a
strong active trade. Cows traded on a
steady market. Both veal and lambs
sold on a good steady market. All
classes of Stockers sold on a steady
market.
There were 689 steers on offer
selling from $98 to $105 with sales
to $121.50. A bwf steer consigned by
Kada Farms, Bluevale, weighing
1,450 lbs. sold to Holly Park Meat
Packers for $121.50 with their
overall offering of ten steers
averaging 1,410 lbs. selling for an
average of $104. A limousin steer
