Although it was a rather rainy and cold morning at the Seaforth Fair on Friday it did not stop the 4-H clubs from showing their stock. I spent most of the morning watch ing the Huron County 4-H sheep club show their animals. My hat goes off to Florence Pullen, the leader of the club, who spent a lot of time getting kids organized, making sure that things went smoothly. Anyone wanting to buy their meat for the winter can attend the Brussels Livestock 4-H Calf and Lamb show and sale on Saturday, Oct. 7. There’ll be nothing but the best there, all grain-fed animals. I know that this is not totally Walton news but it is too exciting for me not to tell about my new grand daughter.
