Agriculture Brussels livestock report * 244 veal on offer, beef reach SI63 high Total receipts at Brussels Livestock for the week ending Sept. 15 were 3,397 head of cattle and 537 lambs and goats. The fed steers and heifers traded under pressure at prices $2 lower. Cows traded on a steady market. Veal traded $5 to $10 higher. Lambs sold on a steady market. All classes of Stockers sold on a strong active market. There were 629 fed steers on offer selling from $96 to $100 with sales to $112.75. Four limousin steers consigned by Lauderlea Farms, Listowel, averaging 1,376 lbs. sold to Norwich Packers for $112.75 with their overall offering of eleven steers averaging 1,366 lbs. selling for an average of $105.5 I. A limousin steer consigned by Roy Schmidt, Woodstock, weighing 1,460 lbs. sold to Dominion Meat Packers for $110 with his overall offering of steers averaging 1,460 lbs. for an average of $99.31. Three steers consigned by McKenzie, Dublin, averaging 1,398 lbs. sold for an average of $101.39 with sales to $ 105.75.
