Seaforth municipality of needs strong the municipal Seaforth Reeve Lin Steffler has announced her intention to run for mayor of the new Huron East. As mayor of Huron East I would strive to ensure all ratepayers, both rural and urban, are treated equally and fairly," said Steffler. Steffler, the current treasurer and chair of the Finance and Property Committee of the Community Hospital Board, several important issues in upcoming term. "Nutrient management is an of concern. Grey Twp. has already developed a comprehensive nutrient management plan that's the best the county. We have to continue build on that strength." She sees the growth of industry important to the future of the new municipality. "There are a number of in to as locations throughout our area that are zoned industrial now or could be developed.
