Balloon comes to Homecoming Obituaries The sky’s the limit for the Pilot Insurance as it raises funds for local charities in Ontario communities for the fourth summer in a row. The company's eight-storey tall hot air balloon will be coming to Clinton’s 125th Homecoming Aug. 5 and 6, for fundraising and balloon rides. Clinton is the 12th stop this year for the balloon on its five-month schedule of visits to festivals, fairs and special events throughout south ern Ontario. To give adults and chil dren alike a taste of ballooning, teth ered balloon rides will be available at the fairgrounds, west of the new horse bams, on Saturday and Sunday mornings from approximately 9 to 11 a.m. and on Saturday evening from approximately 7 to 9 p.m., weather permitting. The rides cost $2, with proceeds going to the Clinton Millennium Park. In addition, a lucky draw winner will experience sunrise or sunset bal loon flight for two over the week end. The draw will take place on Aug. 3. Anyone (12 years of age or older) can enter to win. Raffle tickets are available from the K40’s and from PA.
