Morris changes meeting dates HEALTH ON THE HILLJ Morris council will hire Andy McBride of Maitland Engineering Services to prepare a report for South Part Lot 13, Cone. 5. A petition from Wayne and Barbara Fear and Clarence and Jane White discussed July 4, asked that drainage be provided for the land. The proposed work would be subject to approval by the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. Council requested the work be completed in 2000. The membership fee of $60 for the Huron County Road Supervisors Association was approved. A donation of $100 was given to Huron County Farm and Safety to help offset the cost of the slow moving vehicle sign program. Payment of $50 for a car rental for the Belgrave millennium parade was approved. Council agreed for the township to enter into a service contract with Munisoft for hardware and software. General and road accounts in the amounts of $146,366.63 and $60,639.78 were approved for payment. They had choirs from Galt Collegiates. Their minister for the day was their senior pastor who gave an excellent sermon. He spoke about Thomas - Christ’s doubting disciple. Thomas showed that the wonders of doubt brings faith - he thoroughly believed and followed his Lord. The music was special. There was a baptism and the baby girl gave the congregation a beautiful smile after being returned to her mother. One realizes the enjbyment a person receives from radio and TV when you think of the endless things that can be seen and heard.
