Dr. Jackson celebrates 90th Dr. Ken Jackson A former local veterinarian cele- Ken Jackson has been a resident of brates his 90th birthday July 7. Dr. Blyth for 60 years. Dr. Jackson attended schools in Walton and Brussels before enrolling at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. He graduated in 1936. He married Ethel Davidson in 1937 and they eventually had four children. His wife passed away sev­ eral years ago. He practised veteri­ nary medicine in the Auburn, Londesboro, Dungannon and Bly th areas for 24 years before selling his practice to Dr. Rudy Leibold in 1964. He still enjoys animals especially horses. From his house he can watch the many Fiord horses graze on his farm at the end of King Street. Dr. Jackson enjoys reading the daily paper and has a keen interest in the local happenings as well. He will be spending a quiet day with his family: Wayne and Gloria Jackson, Ridgetown; Sharon Jackson and companion Peter McAinsh, Stittsville; Charles and Shirley Shobbrook, Walton and Graham Jackson, Blyth.
